By the end of 2020, 62 doctoral dissertations, 61 master's theses, 209 specialist works in Pharmaceutical Technology, 244 specialist /final works in Industrial Pharmacy, and 150 specialist / final works in Cosmetology were defended at the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology. Also, from 2016 to the end of 2020, 214 graduate /final works of students of integrated academic studies were defended.

Teachers and associates of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology actively participate in various extracurricular activities of students. In 2016-2020, teachers and associates of the Department were mentors of 84 student research works, realized within the Center for Student Research of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade. Also, teachers and associates of the Department provide support to other extracurricular activities of students, such as the congress of the National Association of Pharmacy Students of Serbia, by holding lectures and organizing workshops.

At the initiative of the BPSA students, since 2018, the manifestation "Skills of compounding pharmaceutical preparations" has been held at the Department. So far, three such events have been held:

• The skill of compounding dosage forms for cardiac diseases in the pediatric population (2018)
• Frequent pet diseases - how can a pharmacist help them? (2019)
• Acne is an unavoidable problem of today: How to treat them? (2021)

Teachers and associates of the Department of Pharmaceutical Technology and Cosmetology regularly contribute to the design and presentation of the Faculty of Pharmacy in Belgrade as part of the Science Festival.
