CV

Born on January 18th, 1972. in Kula. She finished elementary school in Sivac, and High school of pharmacy in Sombor. She enrolled at the Faculty of Pharmacy in 1990. and graduated from it in 1995. From 1996. until today, she has been employed at the Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She defended her master's thesis entitled "Application of different chiral selectors in the separation of enantiomers of metoprolol tartarate by planar chromatography and high performance liquid chromatography" on July 11., 2002. at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade (mentor Prof. Dr. D. Radulović). She defended her doctoral dissertation entitled "Design, synthesis and biological activity of aminoalkoxy derivatives of phenylpropiophenone" on March 20th, 2013. at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Belgrade (mentor Prof. Dr. S. Vladimirov). The field of interest in scientific research is the synthesis and biological activity of propiophenone derivatives.

Branka is teacher in mandatory subjects of integrated academic studies: Pharmaceutical Chemistry I, Pharmaceutical Chemistry II and Pharmaceutical Chemistry III, as well as in the elective subject Mechanisms of degradation and biotransformation of biologically active compounds on Pharmaceutical Chemistry module on postgraduate studies.
