CV

Olivera Čudina graduated at University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy in 1989. After a year of  training  in Biochemical laboratory of Clinical center “Zvezdara” she obtained a working certificate. Since 1990. she has been employed at Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry, University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy as Teaching associate (1990-1991), Teaching assistant (1991-1996), Assistant (1996-2009), Assistant professor (2009-2014), Associate professor (2014-2019) and Full time professor (2019-now) in scientific field of Pharmacetical-medicinal chemistry and structural analysis. She finished master study in 1996. which deals with synthesis and characterization of anti-inflammatory steroid derivatives with 1,4-dihydrazinophthalazine. In 2007, she defended her PhD thesis in the field of using various types of micelles as a model systems for biomembranes. In 2008, she finished specialist studies in Drug testing and quality control.

Her teaching activities are involved in the Integrated Academic Studies for Pharmaceutical Chemistry 2, Pharmaceutical Chemistry 3, Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Selected topics in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. She is also included in postgraduate studies-Doctoral studies and Specialist studies (Medical Products Release and Drug testing and quality control). She is an  author of one textbook and coauthor of two books for practical exercises. She was mentor of one defended doctoral thesis, two specialization required by healthcare system, eleven final thesis on Integrated academic studies and six students scientific works within the activity of CNIRS.

The main scientific research areas include design, synthesis, physico-chemical characterization, biopharmaceutical and biological properties of compounds with potential pharmacological activity as well as development and validation of analytical methods used for testing drug impurity, stability and determination of active pharmaceutical ingredients in pharmaceutical preparations. Olivera Čudina has coauthored 44 scientific papers published in international and national journals (306 citations, h index 9). Since 2001. she has been participant in five national projects, one bilateral project and one international project. Now currently she is participant in one project (program Ideas) and the member of  research group within the institutional financing of scientific research work at the University of Belgrade-Faculty of Pharmacy.
