Guzonjic Azra was born on September 18, 1993. in Sjenica, where she finished elementary and high school. She enrolled at the Faculty of Pharmacy, study program Pharmacy in 2012. She is the winner of the Annual Award for the best students. She did a student internship at the "Farmanea" pharmacy. She is the author of two student research papers: "Relationship between telomere length and oxidative stress in patients with coronary heart disease" and " Oxidative-stress status of patients with acute myocardial infarction". She completed the Integrated academic studies in 2017 with an average grade of 9.49 and the experimental final paper "Redox status and telomere length in patients with coronary heart disease". Doctoral academic study, module Medical Biochemistry she enrolled in 2017. She won a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development for doctoral students in the field of chemistry. She completed her internship in the public pharmacy and the hospital pharmacy of the Military Medical Academy (2017-2018). She worked at "LORA" as a pharmacist and pharmacy manager (2018-2019). She was a participant in the 6th International CEEPUS Summer School in Portorož, Slovenia. In October 2019, she was selected as a Research Trainee at the Faculty of Pharmacy. She was elected as a Teaching Assistant in April 2022. At the Department of Medical Biochemistry, she participates in conducting practical courses: General biochemistry, Medical biochemistry, Statistics in pharmacy, Risk factors for cardiovascular diseases, Application of information technologies in medical biochemistry. She enrolled in Specialist academic studies, the study program Pharmacoeconomics and Pharmaceutical Legislation in 2021. She is a member of the Committee for monitoring and improving the quality of postgraduate teaching and the Committee for the defense of several final thesis. She is the author/co-author of several papers and short presentations presented at national and international congresses, as well as a participant in several national and international projects.
