CV

Milena Simić (born Antanasijević) was born on April 17, 1972 in Belgrade. She graduated from Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade in 1998. At the same faculty Milena obtained M.Sc. and PhD degrees. Doctoral dissertation entitled "Annulation of heterocyclic compounds and their application in the synthesis of natural products," was defended at the Faculty of Chemistry, in November 2012. Currently, Milena Simic is a lecturer at the Department of Organic Chemistry, Faculty of Pharmacy. She participated as a mentor in several student research projects. Her area of interest includes syntheses of natural products and biological active compounds.
